secretly.
i've made all plans
to take you hand in hand...
oh but that's just a silent notion.
and soon you'll trip.
should i be the friend
right up until the very end...
showcasing ruthless heart's devotion
here...
watch me step down behind
i'll push you along your step
overstep and i'll fall in line
when this could get better yet
sweet, bliss.
all the coast cleared for us two
but i've played my hit and miss...
i'll mark you for another heyday.
biting down this lip.
so hard to keep down the blood
to go on like everyone else does...
but soon i'll open up truth to say
here...
but now i'm scheming.
i could wait for the day
or make that one be today
i know that i'm dreaming...
will you return this advance
should i take this chance
flutterbugs have me teething...
i'm hoping for some hope to hold upon to
this time
watch me step to your mind
i'll push you step in step
overstep and i'll draw the line
when this could get even better
why do let me get in so far?
i can only wonder... no it isn't so hard.
why would you want me here today
i can't even say love to you this stay

Isn't that fear of rejection just too intense to deal with! But, you know, the worst they can say is "NO". We have lived through that word many times in our lives and still survived. Take a chance, give it a try. If it is "no' then you know to move on. Good luck.
