I can't escape
I can't break free
Not worth your time
Don't bother saving me.
I'll weigh you down
I've lost my mind
Just a hinderance
I can't hold on this time.
Why can't I be normal?
Why does this hurt?
Can't overcome this paranoia
Or these shadows that lurk.
Behind every corner
Behind every closed door
I want to break free
But I chose to ignore
You begged and pleaded
I told you to leave
I know you won't return
I can't embrace reality.
Now it's gone
And I've abandoned all hope
You can't save me now
I can no longer cope.
No one waiting at the exit
I can't find it anywhere
Still lost inside my own head
Stuck inside nowhere.

this poem really hit me deep, its good cause it really shows the emotion of the thing but it really hit to close to home for me. I hope a lot of people read this so they can understand what it like to go through something like that.
