Suffocation, barely breathing
Longing for a life worth living
Badly bruised and bloody knuckled
Fingers mangled as knees buckled.
Sadistic pleasures of the mind
When good and evil find the killing kind
Sacred burial of a bruise soul
As they lower your body into the hole.
Charred remains of a lagging ego
Selfish exploration to find what we wish to know
Variety and commitment never the same
Hoping to find some closure from which we came.
Simplistic and melodramatic, feverish action
In search of the perfect satisfaction
Give the minimum and forged a smile
Steal ideas, make it all worthwhile.
Cut the vein and watch me bleed
Consider my fall and view my need
Clench your fists with attitude and poise
Open your mouth and make some noise.
Fractured esteem but a will to live
In this life we suffer and still manage to give
Vertical fall from our demons below
Value yourself and then Vertigo.
