It seems so crazy and feels so strange
How within a few hours a life can change
4 hours had passed since you stood with me
Who knew at your bedside is where we would be
Making us think you’re hard, tough and strong
We know this now we’ve known all along
A horrible feeling is that of regret
Your only human we shouldn’t forget
All those emotions we tried to hide
But the tears streamed down as we stood by your side
An unbelievable feeling of helplessness and hope
Wanting to takeaway your pain, than to sit and watch you cope
In 2001 I met my big bruv, a friend you have been to me
My sister loves you, your friends adore you and so does your family
I wrote these words for you leon and even when people don’t say
I want you to know these words are true may you hear them everyday xxx
