To me he is as the character Aragorn
A great king of men, a mans man
Who will always be remembered
With his kingly golden armor and sword in hand
but he is also so much more than that
More than many people get to know
He is a father and a very kind man
He is a genius in my eyes
He is his art in many ways
His paintings, photographs, poetry,
And the parts he plays
They are all him in some way
His beautiful paintings and abstract photos
Delineations of the world the way he has seen it
Scenes from the places he has been to
Shown to us through his eyes
His poems like his pictures and paintings are amazing
Simple and complex and very different
In the way they come together
The words and colors that he chooses
The images he photographs
Everything is true to life
His poetry is full of personal and magnetic words
You read one stanza and you have to read it all
They collect in my head and foods it with thought
They inspire me and help me through life
So this is why I say he is as the character Aragorn
A great king of men who will forever rule
And be admired by me and all he reaches
Through his art and through his life

Sigh. I don't agree with his politics, but as Aragorn, a poet, a painter, I'm with you. Lovely write. You captured the best of him.

Viggo is a king!!!!!!! He is the most gorgeous, gracious, incredible man I have ever met. And yes I did meet him - THUD - and talked to him - although I think I was babbling.
A wonderful tribute poem to a fantastic and talented man.
