won't be down on my knees
break a sweat for ya

to rip my heart out
and walk over it
tears i've cried
nights we fought
till the cock crowed
you always thought you
were right
but
you always turned out
to be wrong
i said
i loved you
and thats why i stayed
let you treat me like s***
we fought about it
night and day
until
you made one big mistake
knocked me down
and you hit me
you dirrrty damn bum
no matter what
you had no reason
ever
to lay a fist on me
and
i wasn't goin to lay there
get black and blue
i'm no dumb fool
so
you know i fought back
the vase shattered
against your face
oops
i bet that hurt
but ya know
i felt enpowered
got the stegthen
to leave you battered and bruised
bye bye
now you walk in
tryin' to say
you love me
and need me
and all
i can think is
you love me
thats why i got a black eye
and a busted lip
b/c you ****in' love me

you got a weird way of showin' it
black and blue never screamed
love, need, passion, want
so
i'm tellin you to leave
that its over
not one more word
or tear
for you

why won't you
walk out that door
without a fight

no more pain
and anger
no more black and blue
this black and white
