Starlight

Contributed by merry on Saturday, 27th March 2004 @ 04:21:36 PM in AEST
Topic: fantasy

______________________________

Silver rings on her fingers and toes
A magic woman lives in the wood
Her voice is a song when the wind blows
Youll not find her even if you look

Deep in the forest she sits by the lake
Her gossamer gown studded with stars
It is the only gift she will take
From dark clouds she gathers her riches

Her cold translucent hands clap
As thunder rattles the heavens and earth
Glittering stars fall into her lap
She gathers them up as dew drops

The traveler sees only her light
Beckoning in the distance
As she glides through the night
If you see her, your soul she bewitches
