In Fates Hands

Contributed by maryetta on Saturday, 27th March 2004 @ 06:43:37 PM in AEST
Topic: Grief

we travel this road called life never knowing where we go
hoping for fair weather and easy sailing to our destination
then somehow it happens a new twist added our lives altered
somehow we are now on a different fork of the road all twisted
how this journey ends is in fates hands

this journey is not new thousands have past these roads
and sadly many thousand more will also pass this way
we have no way of stopping this passage so forward we go
so many tears will be shed before the gates are finally locked
how this journey ends is in fates hands

for all the tears that are shed rivers should flow for us
how do you tell everyone this is a one way trip no return
so many pray for a cure but none can be found so we go on
we ask for a reprieve but none come our way we keep going
how this journey ends is in fates hands

as we near the end we ask can we make it no words are spoken
we struggle as we can and pray for the strength to do so
knowing it is hopeless to ask for help we forge ahead hoping
the end occurs leaving us an empty vessel no more tears to shed
how this journey ends is in fates hands

so sad but so true.
Take care of yourself as this certainly is hard on all of you.
Luv, huggs, prayer,
