Jealous Rage

Topic: AngryPoetry

I hate that she is there
The fact that she sees you just isnt' fair.
She gets to see your big blue eyes.
While I am here starting to cry.

The reason for my feelings I can't explain.
All I know is that it causes much pain.
So much heartache I must endure.
I don't know if I can take much more.

We don't yell and we don't fight.
But still I struggle wiht all of my might.
I deal with the grief of jealousy.
Its stupid, for I know I am the only one you see.

It breaks my heart when you say,
"I didn't really talk to her today"
I wish she would vanish into thin air.
At least you can pretend she isn't there.

However I know you are too nice for that.
But its alright for me to feel like I've been hit with a bat.
One day you will see what you have to do.
Until that time I will rely on my trust for you.

I hate that she is there.
I hate that she doesn't see the love we share.
I wish that what others think doesn't matter to me.
Yet still I would like them to see.

Some day it will be just us.
Then maybe I won't make such a fuss.
But for now we have my jealous rage.
It would be much easier if I could keep you in a cage.

Jealousy is a crazy thing...sneaks up you when you least expect it..and it's like super glue or something...no matter how hard you try..you just can't seem to let it go. Jealousy is also a natural feeling...shows you care for someone deeply. There are a few people in the world that would use the word jealousy for their actual feelings of 'ownership'. But true jealousy really isn't such a horrible thing. It's what you do about it that matters. If you have trust in a relationship..then you will be just fine. And forget the old ...if you trust me you wouldn't be jealous cuz that's just a bunch of bull...But keep trusting each other..and you'll be ok... :)

I can relate to this one, from a different standpoint. There are a few people I wish would just vanish. We all feel jealousy, it's just a matter of how you focus it. Use it to further your relationship rather than hurt it.

Great write.
