Crossing Paths

Topic: SadPoetry

When will I see you again?
I don't even know if I can.
You come to me in my dreams.
Intimidated and frightened I am it seems.

You were so bad to me.
For a few years now I have been free.
Then in just one night you appear.
Just one night, and I feel no cheer.

I think I should search for you,
And finally let go and feel brand new.
Share the thoughts I have inside.
Then maybe there will be no more to hide.

It baffles me why I even think of you.
Even after all you have put me through.
Despite these facts you are in my heart.
No matter how much I hate it, we can not part.

When will I see you again?
Then I won't have to pretend.
Some days I actually miss you.
How you made me feel and the look I thought was true.

Even thought it was all untrue,
I still did fall hard for you.
One day our paths will cross.
And perhaps I will share with you my loss.

All my fears then will uplift.
You will give me that great gift.
I am just not sure when,
Or even if I will ever see you again.

This is beautiful Meg. Sad, but beautiful. Maybe next time I see you you'll tell me who this person is? Life is a circle... your paths will cross again. I believe every one we meet that has some inpact on us will be met again, when the time is right.
