Because she gave up hers
Or so he thought
And so she fought
To strive for the best
The best she could give
Until she lay to rest
by a gun in a hand
of a man with no fan
to like him for who he is
So thus he just ran
She lay there staring
Up into the sky
Knowing that she
Will be with him
For one last goodbye
