I've tried and
I've cried.
They come and go.
No one stays forever.
I know
you gave all
that you had.
How many times
will I
fall from grace?
How many times
did I
fall to my knees?
You gave all that you had.
I failed
all I ever loved.
I lied.
Was it all
meant to be?
Will it just
float away like
the end of time?
I cried and begged
please hold my hand.
Don't let me fall
again.
Am I here again?
Will I fail
this time?
I let you go,
come running back.
So scared on
my own.
Why can't I
just leave this
alone.
It won't seem
to leave me be and
it just keeps
dragging me down.
Pictures flash
of times
I used to
know so well.
But in the end
it all just fades
away from me.
Falling under
swept away by
this life of mine.
I always seem to
fall right
when you
need me the most.
And my whole world
seems to keep
bringing me down.

This spoke to me like none of your other poems have. Every word rang a little bell in my mind. So sadly beautiful, I love this one!
