Disintegrate the Wall

Topic: selfstruggles

There are two walls that coexist.
Blocking all movements but those of hate.
Semi-permeable, one holds me back
Trapped inside myself, a wall of despair.
Brick by brick, each one with a story
Trivial are some, others linger as pain.
A tall white wall100 feet high
Too perfect to grip or to climb
Your wall extends much higher still
Blocking my view of the hope-filled sky.
Yours was built with a reason, and meaning
To shut me out in isolation.
Mine was not quite so intentional,
But still serves a purpose.
One of protection from her.
As she casts her ghastly spells against me.
However, my wall has a gaping hole
A flawdropped defenses.
Caused by you when I dropped my guard.
Used and confused by your act.
This hole will never be filled.
I cannot escape this time.
The disappointment from you
Forces the hole to grow wider.
Until the sides cave in
And my security crumbles.
Yours becomes exposed in all its blackness.
Mine collapses upon itself.
I am fully exposed.
You attack from all sides.
I no longer care.
I no longer feel.
You bellow your vengeance.
You holler your mistrust.
As I disintegrate.

Haunting, but well written.
