IS THIS THE LIFE?
YOU SAY I DONT UNDERSTAND YOU
AND MAYBE YOU MIGHT BE RIGHT
CAUSE LATELY ALMOST ANYTHING CAN CAUSE US TO WANNA FIGHT.
WE TEAR DOWN EACH OTHERS SELF-ESTEME
LIKE WE TEAR DOWN THE BED
TILL LITTLE, BY LITTLE WE FEEL OUR HEARTS BEEN TORN TO SHRED.
WHEN WORDS BECOME MORE DEADLY
THEN A FRESHLY SHARPEN KNIFE
AND HURTING BECOMES THE OBJECT THAT GETS YOU THROUGH THE NIGHT.
IS THIS THE LIFE WE AGREED TO
UPON OUR WEDDING DAY?
OR DID OUR VOWS JUST BECOME WORDS,
WE REALLY DIDNT MEAN TO SAY?

sad write, but written well. I can relate as to the female side. Its not often we hear from the mens perspective on events to this.
For me the separation was a blessing and wishing it could have been sooner. The verbal abuse was becoming worse, not able to hide it no longer in front of family and friends. the pain was too obvious for me, for him, it was not letting me go, and hanging on for something that was no longer there or ever will be. HIs pain is what his is, til a day will come, the truth of Gods book will reveal. For now, the blame is all me, but as we leave this world, I only share some of that blame, for it take s two to make it work and two to break it too. I know in my heart what happened, but unfortnately, the rest of the family and some what was friends, seemly only see his side. YOur Friend is lucky to have someone like you to lean on, and understand.
