Breathless Beauty hangs out her window
Waiting for a breeze to caress her warm face
Waiting for her prince to carry her away
Waiting for a simple, well deserved escape
Her heart has been heavy for so long now
She finds happiness only when she is with him
It's something she knows she can't keep thinking
She knows she has got to live on her own
Unaware of her beauty she scrutinzes the mirror
Never happy with the reflection staring back
Her desperation to be beautiful in her own eyes
Grows stronger with each passing day
These days pass too slowly for her taste
Still there's never time to finish what's important
And she weeps as her knees give way
She loses control of herself and her pride
Breathless Beauty waits in agony for a sign
A sign to tell her that better days are coming
And the tears will continue flowing forever
Except when her prince is there to dry them.
