I'M DONE
What I feel for you words can't explain
What I feel for you wasn't easy to obtain
It's like you're my sunshine when there is rain
Although most times I don't show it, and instead give you pain
I hate the thought of all that I put you through
I know now why you feel forced to do what you do
All that's happened is due to me, this is true
But I'll spend a lifetime to try and make it up to you
The pain I've already caused I can't erase
But I'll do my best to have joyous things take its place
Things have been bad and this is something I must face
I know how you feel; that the last year was a waste
But I do believe there will be better days
Our future is bright, I know this because I prayed
I prayed for answers and recieved them in many ways
And every answer points to our relationship being saved
I know it's worth it to stay together
I know we need to start to pray together
There's nothing, but ourselves, to stop us from doing whatever
But a key part to this is being a couple forever
The seperation of you and me feels so wrong
Even if just for a day it seems way too long
Without you in my life I honestly can't go on
That's why everytime we talk about it, I make the conversation prolonged
Please believe me when I tell you everything will be okay
We both know it's true that this won't happen in a day
But from here on out I'll work twice as hard to repay
All I ask in return is to know you're mine every day
I know these are just words and they don't mean a thing
Because it's the action that follows that'll prove what I mean
Nothing in this world will prevent my love for you from being seen
You will forever be my love and deserve to be treated more like a Queen
I know for you this relationship hasn't been much fun
And this has to change in order for me to be your number one
I can't say sorry enough, I know your stress weighs a ton
So I have to change my ways, which is why I named this poem
... I'm Done

Just words but beautiful ones. Excellent poem. It's very sad that you are seperated from someone you love so much and I pray that they will accept your apologies. Welcome to YPDC.
