If Its Too Loud Youre Too OLD

Contributed by scott1097 on Wednesday, 31st March 2004 @ 01:19:01 PM in AEST
Topic: HumorPoetry

As i sit and do as im told i wont turn down my music cause you thinks its too bold
My music is my escape and my fantasy
it makes me happy why cant you see
I listen to Kiss and AC/DC . Led Zepplen and Elvis Presley
I turn it up loud whole the neighbors to hear
I walk out my door and give them the 12 ounce cheer
I wont turn down my music cause you thinks its too bold
cause "IF ITS TOO LOUD YOU'RE TOO OLD"

This brought a smile to my (relatively young) face. But I must query your eclectic taste - Elvis? Granted, 'In The Ghetto' is a good song - but he's straight out the fifties . . .
Anyhoo - nice write.
