What great cost would not be paid to teach my pen a brand new word? What sweet wine would no tongue touch without the gift of just one seed?
Kiss my mind just once with your sweet music gifts and I will fill the casks of Rome and make the gods snub their nectar.

You've got a certain natural flair about your words that screams "POET! POET!" If you had lived and died a few centuries ago I'm sure you'd be famous by now.
Love the first stanza and the 2nd last line seems very promising... but the final line is a bit like.. eh? |
