look at him now
hes all grown up
thinks hes tough and stuff
needs some advice
but dad isn't there
not there to care
he was never really there
not near enough
so now his kid
isn't so tough
he cries all night
hoping dad
will come back
but his dad's mind
is only on one track
he doesnt care
and never will
it's his son's love
that he wishes to kill
he's not even a father
but just a child
with a temper
who needs to care
but just cant
and hes taking it out
on his family
and his family cant
take it anymore
so his family all left
and left the child alone
they can't support him
they don't even
have a phone
but if his dad did care
he wouldnt have
gone so far
and he would be here
instead of up there
as a star

As I have problems with my mom, I can understand... this poem is beautiful... and it expresses it well.
