Stepping Towards the Edge
My mind is running, At a thousand miles per hour. The cruise control is set, Only there is no one in the driver seat.
*CRASH* Running straight into a wall, Leaving my heart tattered, And shattered into tiny pieces.
My mind knows no end, It doesn't feel the pain it is putting me through.
I can only begin to gather my thoughts. Thoughts of being alone, That today will be our finest hour, But also our last. That when the morning comes, I will wake up alone and cold, Left feeling naked.
I want to rid myself, Of this problem, Before I do end up alone and cold. Otherwise my fears just may come true.
So I'm asking you, To tell me if I've gotten too close, Before you can stand me no longer.
