His sanity had seemed to be
So highly overrated
Must do this and cant do that
Grew further from his mind
Proclivity and levity
Not oft articulated
Wandered distant from the course
That he had left behind
Feeling anger bubble up
It stripped him bare, yes stripped him bare
Leaving strangers in his wake
Where once he knew to care
To jump at shadows was a waste
When he would become the shade
Hiding here or lurking there
He had devised a way
A devil in the brightest place
This new man that he had made
Leave the light and bring them home
And then hed make them pay
Fill his head with thoughts of death
But not his own, no not his own
Slaughter all the worms of light
Hed cleave them to the bone
His sanity had seemed to be
A mighty weave of fabric
Moonlit dreams and nightmare day
Unraveled thread by thread
Mortality and ecstasy
Gave birth to cloth of magic
Danger lurked in every stitch
And spawned inside his head
Up from hell on blackened wings
Oh come to me, yes come to me
Bring your rancor to the earth
And cause the light to flee
His sanity then was no more
It didnt seem to matter
Fly the moon and burn the sky
Destroy and never cease
Sanguinity and vanity
With crimson in a splatter
Taking him to live in Nod
The madness ate his peace

hmmm , quite awesome in this write, almost Poe-like!!! I'd say, the rebirth is so dark, what made it so, the insanity no more...
