I'm looking for him.

Contributed by lynda rachel comiske on Sunday, 22nd September 2002 @ 10:20:00 AM in AEST
Topic: fantasy

His passion is fearce, yet gentle like mine
and never decreases each time we entwine.
Starving his hunger yet sharing his hope,
another year over another to cope.
i'm looking for him.
He's always true and never proceeds
to dampen my day with mistrust or cruel deeds.
he walks on the beach like he's holding my hand
and longs for my shadows reflect on the sand.
im looking for him.
i feel his emptiness, lonely and void,
his feelings are fragile and not to be toyed.
sometimes i mistake him if just for a while,
in somebodys touch or a lost strangers smile.
im looking for him.
maybe i'm crazy believing this fate
but no one i've found can quite compensate.
how can i discribe this presence i miss,
its meaning has more than my first true loves kiss.
im looking for him.
so i shall remain on this path for a while
and follow as always while counting each mile
and if at the end he is still out of view.
i'll rent out a movie and settle for you.
