DENIALS IN THE COURTYARD!

"AGONY"

While the Apostate Jewish Court decides his fate........
Jesus is sent to the courtyard, where his own Apostles berate!
They deny him, and now he is without a friend!
It's just He and His Heavenly Father to the end!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
PART TWO
Abandoning Jesus, his Apostles flee in fear!
Peter and John follow him, staying in the rear.
Caiaphas' spacious residence, they enter his courtyard.
'Tis cold, officers build a charcoal fire in the brickyard.
Trying to stay warm 'round the fire, Peter joins them.
Recognizing him "You were with him, you I condemn!"
one woman points and exclaims!
Fearful Peter denies before all, "I do not know him!"
"This man was with Jesus!" Peter denies again!
Peter removes himself to the gateway...
While there a woman says, "I saw him with Jesus,
He must have gotten away!"
Peter for the third time denies ever knowing Jesus!
Staying his distance, Peter has lost his braveness!
A cock crows when Peter denies him three times.
Standing on the Balcony, Peter sees Jesus oft-times!
Remembers Jesus saying Peter would deny him
three times as the cock crows!
Peter goes outside the gates, crying bitter sorrows!
Pressures of the moment, Peter looses his balance.
What appears right, seems to be wrong, a hinderance!
Because of his "Fear of Man" Peter shows no loyalty.
Let us never give up our integrity out of fear loosely!
BEFORE THE *SANHEDRIN:
THEN ONTO PILATE.....
Now keep in mind Jesus has been up all night!
It is now Friday morning, he is before the court upright!
As before, "Are you the Christ, tell us?"
"Even if I told you, you would not believe, 'tis aimless!"
These False religious leaders want to remain blameless.
They bind Jesus, turning him over to the Romans, Shameless!
Judas realizes his sin, and tosses the silver into the temple.
Hangs himself, the rope breaks, his body bursts
on the rocks below, to crumple!
*Footnote: Sanhedrin is the Jew's Highest Court.
JESUS STANDS BEFORE GOVERNOR PILATE
'Tis early morning, the Jews hand him over.
Pilot asks "For what is he accused, a Savior?"
"If this man were not a wrongdoer, we wouldn't have given him to you!"
Involvement Pilate doesn't want,
"Take him and judge him, your laws venue!"
Murderous intent reveal, "We can't kill anyone!"
'Tis Passover Festival, all killing forbidden!"
Getting the Roman Government to execute him,
They will be absolved of any responsible grim!
The religious leaders never mention the trial!
"We found this man guilty on three counts fulfil.
1. Subverting our Nation.
2. Forbidding the paying of taxes to Caesar.
3. And saying He Himself, is Christ the King!"
Pilate is most interested in this last accusation.
"Have you broken the law by saying King of the Nation?"
Pilot says, "Your own people and Nation deliver you up to me,"
"What is it you have done? On what can we agree?"
Jesus in no way attempts to dodge the issue.
His Kingship, He will not sidestep nor be untrue!
Answering, Pilate now gives no doubt he is surprised!
"My Kingdom is not part of your world," Jesus surmises!
This ends Part two........
Tomorrow will be
FROM PILATE TO HEROD
AND BACK AGAIN!
You will deny me three times before the cock crows.
But alone was he not. Mary & Mary were there by his side to cry his pain.
This event although wronged by every one there with out a doubt necessary and known by our lord jesus christ.
Peter although shamed by his actions, was need to flee. for he became the stepping stone christianity.
Judas had to betray our lord in order for gods greatest sacrafice to man.
We kill his son, and in return he amend our sins and opened the gates of heaven.
The true denial was throwing away Mary ( the greatest apostle left unheard.)
I'll be back to read more tomorrow.
God bless you.
For comment that was left above........
I was only writing about the particular scene in the courtyard.....meaning of course that his friend THERE had denied him, and at that moment he was all alone.
