I'm laying in bed,
I'm thinking of you,
I can't fall asleep,
You're all I can think of.
Thinking of what might have been,
Thinking of what could be.
I don't know why i think this,
I guess I just hope,
Hope that one day you will see me,
See me the way I see you.
But I'm pretty sure that will never happen.
We'll drift apart in the coming years,
We'll talk less and less,
And then all I'll have to remember you,
Are these poems I wrote.
