I never thought I'd meet someone like you,
Someone who can always make me laugh,
Even if I'm feeling blue.
Someone who's made me see feelings I never knew I had,
And say those three words,
That make missing you hurt so bad.
Someone who makes my heart beat,
Every time our eyes meet.
Someone I can talk to,
No matter how silly or serious it may be,
You're always there to comfort me.
Especially during this confusing time,
Not knowing what the future holds,
But still hoping that our love will stay strong,
As this story unfolds.
And while I know not all of my dreams may come true,
I just want you to know how happy I am,
To have met someone like you.
