I've often told you that I loved you
But you'd never believe
And now I wonder why
I can't leave
Now this pain I am feeling
Is not to keen
When will your love
Come rescue me?
And now you're saying you love me
But I cannot see
I do not understand
Why you're with him and not with me
My hope right now is that you'll know
How I truly feel
Please understand that I am not angry
And that I still love you
Your smile is as beautiful
As the morning dew on the grass
And I can't explain it but this much is true
I love you
