It was just a dream

As I came to the pool
With my two best friends
I saw you there
As I swam towards you
And held you tite
We were together once again
In my head as I looked at you
I thought "Ill marry you, i just mite"
As we swam together
We ignored everyone else
We slid down the slide
As you held my waste
Thinking deep down inside
That I was the girlfriend replaced
As I was under the water
You pulled my long hair back
And asked if I was okay
It didnt matter
Because for once you felt the same way
When we got out of the pool
We went to my house
I showed you around
My dad saw us together
And asked why he was around
I had no idea
I didnt know how it happened
As we went into my room I sat in my chair
As you sat next to me and smelled my hair
You kissed my neck and I never wanted to leave
How could I when you rubbed up and down my sleeve
We were in love I couldnt believe
I soon got up
And went to the bathroom
I started to scream
As I woke up and realized
It was just a dream

Sometimes when Im in my room
I look at my chair
And think that you were once there
I look at the pool
I shed tears
No one will notice
Because its water
They wont see
What really happened to me
Even though it never happened
I picture our moments together
Everywhere I go
And it hurts me still
Knowing youll never love me so

You've stirred happy and sad emotions with this wonderfully expressed poem! I believe in dreams coming true ... depending on how badly a person want it :) Great imagery, I felt as though I was there! Take Care ...
