You may not know it,
but just talking to you split
my way of viewing
the world of the living.
I used to be hard and emotionless
but now I feel a closeness
to you that has altered
the motions that lingered
inside of me.
I now see the world more compassionately
I'm not for sure if this is good
for it means I could
more easily be hurt.
I think it may be impossible to revert
back to my former self.
you should be proud of yourself
for you have done what
few even sought
and changed me.
