Here I lie
in bits and pieces.
The words have all been said
and lovers have left
long ago
But none were like you.
Fragmented, I lie
here in this black velvet curtain of night
All is silent, yet I hear
your voice and mine
intertwining as they should
but do no more
for you are gone.
And here I lie
in bits and pieces.
