Leaping off the Edge
I've been on edge
I've been looking down
The ravine below
Has singled me out
I have to leap down
Can I rise above fear?
It's held me in its grasp
So long that I can't bear
It has me prisoned
By myself
It has me under its spell
This leap of faith
Can be deadly or saving
I've been considering
And it's so hard to trust
I can't make this leap
Which move to take?
To fall to my death
To live on the edge
To rise higher in the sky
Out of reach
This leap of faith
Is a leap of trust
Do I have enough trust
To trust Him with myself?
I fall to my death
I fall for my life
I fall into open arms
And I'm caught
I freed myself within

I love that last line..This poem to me is diffrent from your normal stuff.Granted it is a bit older to..I am curious of the "him" you speak of though. |

Breathtaking. Excruciating opening stanza:
I've been on edge
I've been looking down
The ravine below
Has singled me out
I have to leap down

I wish my old stuff (or new stuff) was this good.
