18 in 8 days
i should be happy right?
the age every child looksfoward to
18 you became a young woman
and you will go thru alot more
i hear that everyday
but what life has already broght me isnt that enough
i sit here and think
is this one age going to change my life
its only 18 then it will be 21 then 30 my life has went by so fast
i want to slow it down
god please hand me a rope so i can just wrap it around my life to keep it from moving so fast
there are so many things i want to do
but as i sit down and think i have no talents
im not going to be anything in life
collage is comeing up
what do i want to do for the rest of my life?
is there anything im good at?
nope i guess not
will i end up like some one on the streets because i cant get a job?
when i have kids will they be able to have everything they want and everything i want to give them?
well i think for now im just go to sit down and take a deep breath and hope the answers come to me !!!!!

| Firstly let me say "Happy Birthday!" Secondly I thought your poem was great. Lots of questions and ponderings. You bring back memories for me. The summer I turned 18 I was off to college. It wasn't fun! Anyway, it won't go too fast hopefully for you. I hope you age at a pace that makes you happy. Enjoyed this one... Kie |
