Im tired of this
just 3 years ago
i hated it
now Im attached,
and i dont think that i can leave this place

but ill say goodbye
and ill hate it there
then get attached
and forget it here
and I know that i wont want to leave that place

and ill look out at the city lights
and tears will come to me again, ill say
how can i make it through this?

it will happen, so ill just wait
and make the most out of this day
and leave my sorrow for another time

and it might be better if you were here
to show me how to smile again
entertain my mind with your friendship

itd be better if i was not alone
though i can tell you love is close,
i feel i still need someone here with me

and everyones at a party tonight
but i stayed home waiting for your call
thats life, and i know that it will come around

i know that life will come around again.
