Ever since i last saw your face
I've been letting life slip away
You gave me energy
When i thought i had none
You gave me love
When i thought it was gone
But it wasn't gone
It was just waiting for someone
Someone to come around
And help let it out
And when i did
I was scared
Scared that things might change
When they did
I found it was a beautiful thing
But when you left
You took love with you
I was left with nothing
I shouldn't throw everything away
Just because you left
But like i said
You gave me energy and love
And now i have none.
