The power of a forked-tongue is like a poisonous venom that immobilizes your body when unaware and unsuspecting
Injecting your heart with a serum of divine sweetness that runs through every fiber of your soul until you've lost all sense of control
Surrendering your heart to a love you've always dreamed of only to awaken to a field of lies sown right before your blinded eyes
And you watch in complete horror as all the lies slowly uncover leaving your demise in the hands of whom you believed to be a good man
As he leaves you only to suffer the heartaches from a forked-tongue liar that deceived you into believing he was absolutely trustworthy
