embracing those sweet lips
oh my heart just flips
i'm finally getting my wish
i got that one special kiss
i've been waiting forever
for us to be together
now we're growing near
decreasing my fear
i'm glad you now know
to just go with the flow
and let your love show
despite what they say
they need to just go away
if you care for me
why cant they just let us be
i know the age is a little much
but what's all this fuss
we like each other
so quit trying to be his mother!
why don't they just give us a chance
so we can have our true romance
my love for you grows more each day
so as i lay
i wonder when it will all be ok
for us to do what feels right
instead of having this fright
of what it might look like
i loved that kiss
that was an ironic twist
i loved being in your arms
i felt free of harm
i love the way you drive me wild
you're always making me smile
you make me feel like i really do matter
rather than being nothing at all
it feels like i could never re-fall
you're the one for me
that's the way it seems like it should be
so now i sit here and await
the day we'll finally date!
