Hope and Harmony

Contributed by Vitreous_Soul on Sunday, 4th April 2004 @ 08:35:22 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Caliginous shroud hides blue sky shining
'Neath onyx endowed lies silver lining
Through trials morose, love never elopes
Still to grow, so close, inspirited hopes

The deepest of layers to curtain desire
Through strongest of prayers, pierce and inspire
Boundless devotion, mind, body and soul
Depthless emotion 'pon hearts to inscroll

By faith united, blissful concurrence
Calmness ignited, wishful assurance
Guided from above, a bond transcendent
Perfection hereof, flawless attunement

Two concepts so true, adjoined with beauty
Now reborn anew, hope and harmony
Despondent no more, beacon emerges
Resplendent ardour, love songs from dirges

Forever to shine, forever complete
Felicitous line i'll always repeat...

"Kindred spirits, mates of soul
Wandering halves, now made whole"

The first stanza intrigued me, the second impressed me, the third struck me, whilst the rest delighted me . . .

"Forever to shine, forever complete
Felicitous line i'll always repeat..."

That brought a smile to my face.

As always, a beautiful and overwhelming write. I swear I've learnt more new words from reading your poems than I have in years of school :)

With some poets, you know before you even begin to read that it's going to be a work of art. You're one of them my friend.

Very well done as always

Larry

Just realized I'd neglected to comment on this one . . .

. . . so came over to it, reread it, and remembered why it was that I hadn't commented before: I was out of my mind with jealousy :-P.

This, Dan, is la creme de la creme. Niiiiiiiiiiiiice.
