LISTEN TO MY CRY

Contributed by PRECIOUSBECKY on Sunday, 4th April 2004 @ 10:18:57 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

I'm knocking on your door-
Won't anyone hear my cry?
Am I nothing more than a haunting shadow to you- filling your memory with the terrified youth you once were?

Help me-
Won't anyone listen to my cry?
You're too transparent- wanting the world to revolve anly around your own disgusting selves.

Encourage me-
Please listen to my cry.
Am I nothing more than a pleading voice-
Unrecognized and forgotten?

Understand me-
Just listen to my cry!
Am I just an interruption to your memorized discussions?

Once more I am knocking on your door-
WON'T ANYONE HEAR MY CRY?

Your poem is excellant. I hear your cry as I also cry in this wide world. Humanity grows farther apart. We all grow alone but I am out there and so are you and many many more like us. You are a poet and in such your cries ahll be heard by countless number across countless years.
