I'm crying out to You, Oh Lord From every depth of my soul I'm pleading with You, My God, My God Once again, please make me whole To this world, I am already dead My friends have all turned against me The barriers around me are closing in From my chains, will I ever be free? I'm in a hole with no way out My heart is no longer mine Can't You hear me begging You? Am I even worth Your time? Do my cries fall upon deaf ears? Or do You just not care? If You spent so much time creating me Why give me more than I can bare? I cry out to You, Oh Lord Yet You reject me and hide Your face I have suffered enough, I've been destroyed Where's Your mercy? Where's Your grace? You've taken my loved ones away from me And made loneliness my only friend Your wrath surrounds me like a flood Who do You taunt me so without end? I'm drowning in these waters, God Yet Your hand is nowhere in sight Won't You save me from my troubles? Won't You pull with all your might? Perhaps You have given up on me Just another soul You won't restore Is it better to turn away from You When You long for me no more? But in all my pain I still call You In hopes that one day You will see The hurt I feel and the tears I've cried And maybe then You'll answer me

What doesn't kill you will make you stronger. That is true ya know. And having God on your side gives you a heads up in times of pain and anguish... |
