Human Nature Paradox

I have my fears, same as you. Some so great, I can't get through. Frozen in place, by dark fear thought. That I can't face, so haven't fought.
Some mythic fear. Or foolish worry. I won't go near, from which I scurry.
Like scaredy cat, or scalded dog. A fearfull thing, lost in fears fog.
Except of course, when that's not true. When wills own force, will see me through, the gates of hell, to Devil's throne. To battle him i'll go alone.
Both aspects true. Paradoxically. In me, in you, eternally.

I nearly clicked the back button while thinking "Happiness" has said what I think, on quick reflection it would be remiss of me not to say how very good and how true your poem is.

I like this. Nice flow, easy read and so, so true. It's funny how our fears rule us, but without fear, would we have survived? I think not, but what do I know? heh heh heh Write on R&R!
