Weve established were friends
Even though weve never actually met face to face
Does this mean our love is out of place?
Cause our love grows with each passing day
When we hear our words of love being echoed from the heart through each and every word we say
Im here
Touching you with my words
Holding you with my heart
Caressing your spirit
Loving you even though were miles apart
Taking the time to let you know just how I feel
Touching you with my words my words of love
If only I could touch you with my hands
Id hold you so close to me and then
Id dry all of your lonely tears youve cried for all of your lifetime
Id catch you as youre falling from a height of the realm of darkness into the light
Id hold you while youre screaming at the top of your lungs in the middle of the night
Id stop all the wounds youve inflicted upon yourself from bleeding cause youve cut them too deeply
But I cant cause Im not there Im here
Touching you with my words

Taking the time to let you know just how I feel

Im proud to call you my friend
I mean what I say I say what I mean
Cause theres never an in- between
I try to walk everyday in everyway in the love God gave to me
And to share that love with everyone I meet
Cause I can Im here

Id chase away all of your fears that you bottle deep inside within your mind
Id take away all of your nightmares while youre sleeping and toss them into the night
Id drive out all the demons in your life and set you free to be with me always
When the nights are so lonely so endlessly long But I cant Im not where I belong
