see the blue war
between two doors
shut after a final fight
and i threw your reflection back at you
just to see what you would do
is there more behind your smile
or are you laughing at me
cuz i threw you the obvious reasons
a tragedy locked away for days on end
the simplicity of it all going stale
no one wins
you know i'm saving this glare
this complexion of confusion's real
but you don't seem to care
and i can't feel
so nothing matters end on end
days end nights end
and no one wins
the skies are painted black
until we surrender
there's a lifeless thrill of wonder
we're caught in this blender
so conformed to hate
so destined to lose
here we are locked away
in this tragedy of Catch 22
