Sometimes when you're sleeping
I'll watch you as you're dreaming
wondering where your dreams take you
hoping you're having beautiful dreams
And I gently brush your brow
wondering if you could possibly fathom
the depth of my love
that measures beyond mere words
Never in my wildest dreams
had I imagined that I would be
in the arms of such a loving soul
that completes me
In your peacefully sound sleep
I gently kiss your beautiful warm lips
trying not to disturb
your dream world
And silently thank heaven above
for giving me such a love
that not only fulfills me
but makes me the woman I want to be ...
