When you just woke up
In a room thats too trashy
A bed thats too flimsy
Your bodys already crumbling
That stupid song youre humming
Never got out of your head
Well then, just go back to bed
Then when you try to get up
But your bodys still sleeping
The picture its dreaming
Of a room thats so pretty
Then snap back to reality
And open your eyes
To finally realize
Where you are is not civilized
Then its just a matter of time
Before those eyes begin to cry
What happened to the room
That was so bright
With those spectacular lights
Even to me they would shine
But now the place that I see
I just want to die

Well the style you used was rather rudimentary, but i have to comment on the content. i know EXACTLY how you feel. i havent seen a day that wasnt grey in years. even the sunny ones rarely have even a tenth of the colour they used to.
everything is grey and dark and damp and depressing...
well, congrats, your poem made me feel terrible. |
