Why is it that feelings have to change?
That love leaves you sometimes all alone
And sometimes brings you nothing but pain
You know that nothing lasts forever
And yet if love fails you and runs out fast
You cant believe it and sometimes
You just feel like you are to blame
And you are left thinking that love well
Just is not really ever enough
When you love someone they are supposed
To comfort you and make you feel
That no matter how hard it gets
You will pull through
But what love and loving someone is
Gets mixed up and turned around and
Instead the ones you love just run away
And all they do is bring you suffering
And you find out later everything
That they said had another purpose and
The world they promised
Was nothing but a world of lies
But it was a promise they kept
In the end they left you broken and a stray
With a loss of hope and trust
But then you think
People still die married
Having lived lives full of everything
And someday your chance will come
And sometimes you just cant wait
