|
The trees and flowers are your friends
They help you love, they help you mend
Life is nature, nature is life
Listen to it, it'll remove your strife
Never does its power wane
It guides our life, it keeps us sane
It been here forever and forever shall be
Respecting its presence, that is the key
We cut it down but it grows back
The will to live it does not lack
Not important one might think
But they are wrong, its an important link
We're linked to it, its linked to us
It might be annoying, but do not fuss
If you work with it, you can learn alot
Just do not harm it, it will help you not
We are of nature, natures of Earth
We are its children, to us it gave birth

| A great philosophy. I really enjoy reading poems about nature and this had a spiritual/earthy feel to it. I thought the poem was great! Kie |
