Remembering that single lie

Precious evidence of your mistake
Try to tell me you're sorry
For all the trouble you make
Catch my tears in a bottle
They're all that's left of me
You had the chance to save your love
But the simple answer you couldn't see
Catch my tears in a bottle
Watch them evaporate
Know it was you who caused this
Your apologies came too late.
