Too many times Ive been down,
Too many times Ive felt drowned,
And too many times Ive had a frown,
Upon my face, showing all my disgrace.
This life I feel it is a race.
To where I really cant be sure,
But what I know is that I cant find a cure.
For this problem that I have,
Its like a constant struggle just to get by,
Each day, when I look at you I can only sigh.
Because I know its pointless to even try,
To win your heart, when you want me to die.
Not in that sense, but I feel its true,
That everything I do draws me farther from you.
So Ill waste my time here,
And wait for the moment when you might not fear.
Give in to what we so desire
Baby my hearts on fire,
I cant put it out, but either way I wanna let it blaze,
I love the feeling I get when my heads in the haze,
Of the spell you unknowingly cast on me.
Now Im just gunna let it be.

| I really like this poem - I think that we all feel like this and that life not only love can cause these feelings - I like the way you used all your emotion to write this and it has come across that way - A very good write - keep it up |
