i set you free because
i could see i would be
better off without you
knowing deep down
you wanted to be free
but couldn't gather up
enough courage to tell me
it would have a lot less
painful for me if you could
have stood and faced me
and we'd ended things
with a bit of normalcy
but no, you were like
a wild horse that kicks
and bucks but i remember
you had promised that you
would tell me if you ever
fell out of love with me
still you couldn't find
it in you to be honest
but did you have to
cheat and be so mean

I can certaily relate to this.
What it all amounts too is true luv scares the hell out of some people and all they can do is hurt.
