In this rain
I see your eyes
echo the darkness
of the cloudless sky--
I long to just
touch your hand
and hold your
lips
for only a moment
and then
release
in unending
dissatisfaction...
I want to leave
having tasted some
and still wanting
so
much
more...
But, no
I return
wanting all I can never have.
