At war with myself today.
My mind plays destructive games.
I push you away
Because even I
Can't understand this.
I flinch, I shudder.
I'm a mistake.
I don't fit my own skin
Or vice versa.
I ache.
This battle takes
And rips pieces of me.
My heart in agony
I writhe with pain.
And all the while
I fail myself...I fail you
Because even I
Can't explain
How some of my days become this
But I pray,
Tomorrow ,
To be more me
And be at peace with.

is very sad and very powerful, like the way it rhymes but not in a restrictive way
last bit:

ends it really well.
know how it feels to fail everyone, and i know its no consolation but at least it lets you write some beautiful poetry than can kinda help others |
